About the role

Volvo Cars of Bellevue serves a loyal, design-forward guest base in one of the Seattle metro's most affluent communities. Volvo owners care deeply about their vehicles and trust the people behind the parts counter to support a service experience that matches the brand's values — safety, sustainability, and thoughtful craftsmanship. The Parts Advisor is an essential part of delivering on that standard.

Responsibilities

• Serve retail and internal customers at the counter and by phone — providing accurate parts information, pricing, and availability with professionalism and efficiency
• Assist service technicians and advisors with parts lookup, ordering, and timely delivery to keep the service department productive
• Process parts orders accurately in the DMS — ensuring all transactions are documented and invoiced correctly
• Receive, inspect, and stock incoming parts inventory — maintaining bin accuracy and a clean, organized warehouse
• Follow up on back-ordered and special-order parts — communicating status updates proactively to technicians and service advisors
• Support parts returns, warranty claims, and core submissions per department procedures
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts
• Support additional parts department duties as needed to keep the operation running smoothly

Requirements

• Previous parts counter experience in a franchised dealership or automotive parts environment preferred
• Volvo or European import brand experience a strong plus — familiarity with Volvo parts systems and OEM platforms is a significant advantage
• Accurate and detail-oriented — parts transactions need to be right the first time
• Comfortable with parts lookup systems and DMS platforms — or quick to learn them
• Clear, professional communicator — whether serving a technician at the window or a retail guest on the phone
• Able to manage multiple requests simultaneously in a fast-paced service environment
• Reliable, organized, and self-directed — you take ownership of your counter
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

$30 - $35/hr
