Parts Advisor

We need a reliable, professional parts counterperson to purchase, sell, store and issue parts within our busy dealership. Sure, you’ll need to be good at ordering parts and maintaining inventory, but you’ll also need excellent people skills when dealing with customers and internal staff. Job Responsibilities Determine needs and accurately specify parts accordinglyCreate and modify purchase ordersIssue purchase orders to appropriate vendor to order partsRecord warranty parts returnedCreate special ordered parts on dealership computer system and notify ASM, technician or client upon receiptReview special order parts trackingProcess and close open invoicesCompare invoices against requisitions to verify quality and quantity of merchandise receivedKeep records of outside purchases and parts received and issuedPerform ongoing warehouse parts inventoryAttend weekly department meetings Education And/or Experience High school diploma or GED. Some type of automotive exerperience needed. Compensation Compensation is based on experience. Pay range is from $36,000-$60,000 year.
