Responsibilities
- Assist retail customers, technicians, service advisors, and wholesale accounts with parts identification and sales.
- Accurately identify Subaru parts using VINs, parts catalogs, diagrams, and dealership systems.
- Research and source parts to ensure the correct part is ordered the first time.
- Prepare and process parts orders, special orders, back-orders, returns, and credits.
- Monitor incoming parts and communicate order status to customers and dealership departments.
- Support the Service Department by ensuring technicians receive the correct parts in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate parts invoices, purchase orders, and customer records.
- Assist with wholesale parts sales and maintain strong relationships with independent repair shops and collision centers.
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist customers with product recommendations and Subaru accessories.
- Maintain organized and accurate parts inventory.
- Receive, inspect, label, and stock incoming parts.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
- Monitor special-order and back-ordered parts.
- Help maintain an organized, clean, and professional Parts Department.
- Follow dealership policies and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service and represent Eide Subaru professionally at all times.
- Work closely with Service, Sales, and other dealership departments to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Parts Management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Experience with auto parts sales (preferred)
- Able to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented, professional appearance, and strong work ethic
