Parts Administrator
About the role
Nextran Truck Centers is seeking a Parts Administrator to support our parts and inventory operations. The ideal candidate will process parts invoices, manage purchase orders, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
Responsibilities
- Process parts invoices and verify pricing accuracy.
- Create and manage purchase orders and ensure proper matching of packing slips and invoices.
- Monitor and expedite parts orders to support service and customer needs.
- Submit and track OEM claims for damaged, missing, or incorrectly shipped parts.
- Process vendor rebate claims and maintain supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with management and parts personnel to maintain accurate inventory levels across multiple locations.
- Cooky transfer between Nextran locations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and support efficient parts department operations.
- Communicate effectively with vendors, drivers, technicians, and internal departments to ensure timely parts availability.
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- The ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized inventory systems.
- Experience in a parts department, inventory control, trucking, automotive, heavy-duty equipment, or dealership environment is preferred.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Pay based on an individual’s skills, certifications, education, and years of experience.
Schedule
8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; Monday through Friday
