Partnerships Manager, Ecosystem
The Partnerships Manager, Ecosystem role is seeking a proactive partnerships professional to help build and scale a global partner ecosystem within a fast-growing technology environment.
About the role
You will manage strategic relationships while improving the systems and processes that enable successful partnerships. This role combines partner management, operational excellence, and ecosystem development to drive meaningful business impact. You will work closely with external partners and internal teams to support co-marketing, co-selling, integrations, and adoption initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage the long-tail partner pipeline independently by qualifying opportunities, maintaining relationships, following up on active conversations, and ensuring consistent progress.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned partners, building strong relationships and representing the organization externally.
- Support partner success after onboarding through co-marketing coordination, integration support, adoption tracking, co-selling activities, and account mapping.
- Identify trends within the developer and technology ecosystem to uncover new partnership opportunities.
- Own and improve partner operations, including partner intake processes, onboarding workflows, tracking systems, billing coordination, and internal documentation.
- Identify operational gaps and proactively create solutions that improve efficiency, scalability, and partner experience.
- Maintain accurate partner records, agreements, performance data, and revenue attribution information.
- Improve reporting and visibility across partner activities through strong data management practices.
- Work effectively with internal tools, automation platforms, AI-assisted workflows, and no-code solutions to optimize partnership operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure partners are supported and aligned with broader business objectives.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate is a partnership professional with experience managing ecosystems, referral programs, channel relationships, or technology partnerships.
- They should be highly organized, commercially minded, and comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving environment.
- 3-6 years of experience in partnerships, partner marketing, referral programs, channel sales, or ecosystem development.
- Experience working with technology companies, software platforms, developer tools, databases, infrastructure products, or application marketplaces.
- A strong understanding of how developers evaluate and adopt technical products and how partner ecosystems influence growth.
- Proven experience managing co-marketing, co-selling, referral, or partner-driven growth initiatives with measurable outcomes.
- Ability to independently manage partner relationships, drive projects forward, and maintain strong external credibility.
- Strong operational skills with experience improving workflows, processes, documentation, and reporting systems.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.
- Ability to identify opportunities, solve problems proactively, and take ownership without requiring constant direction.
- Previous experience in an early-stage startup or high-growth technology company is preferred.
- Familiarity with AI-powered tools, developer platforms, application ecosystems, or building technical side projects is a plus.
