About us

BetterMe — a global wellness ecosystem empowering millions to become better — physically, mentally, and emotionally. We build what makes people better and keep challenging ourselves to inspire others.

We are looking for a Partnership Manager with excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset who will perform all responsibilities only from within California.

Your impact

  • Own end-to-end communication with new and existing partners — including payment providers — driving conversations forward and delivering agreed outcomes independently, without escalation.
  • Proactively prospect and reach out to high-priority partners we have no direct network connection with, converting cold outreach into qualified meetings.
  • Maintain warm, consistent relationships with strategically important partners who are not in the immediate pipeline, ensuring they feel valued and engaged for the long term.
  • Build and expand BetterMe's payment partner network across the US and globally, identifying and onboarding new payment providers that support our growth.
  • Serve as a local US presence for partner communications, enabling faster, more effective collaboration with American counterparts across time zones and business cultures.

About you

  • 4+ years of experience in a business development or partnership management role within the tech or banking/financial services industry.
  • Professional fluency in written and spoken English, including in a US business environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: you know how to build trust, listen actively, and advocate for your position when it matters.
  • Prior proven ability to manage multiple partner relationships simultaneously, prioritising effectively and delivering results with minimal oversight.
  • Result-oriented mindset with a track record of converting outreach and negotiations into tangible business outcomes.
  • Nice to have:
    • Hands-on experience working with online payments, payment gateways, or payment infrastructure.
    • Existing network within the US payments or fintech ecosystem.
    • Experience navigating partnership cycles in a fast-paced, product-led company.

What we offer

  • A mission that inspires. Every line of code, every design, every idea helps millions of people become healthier and more confident.
  • Trust without micromanagement. You have flexibility in your approach to work and make decisions independently. We value outcomes over busyness.
  • Growth opportunities. Many of our team leads have grown within the company. There's space for initiative, new responsibilities, and professional growth.
  • Flexible work format. Choose what works best for you.
  • Wellness in practice. Online: regular online workouts, partner discounts, and free access to our products.
  • Open communication. Transparency across teams, honest feedback, and support for initiatives are part of our everyday culture.
  • Support for sports events. We cover entry fees and encourage the team to compete and participate together.
  • Modern equipment. We provide new hardware and everything you need for productive work.
  • Legal & finance support. Experienced lawyers and financial specialists are always there to help — from documents to personal consultations.
