About the role

The Partner, Assurance Services - Healthcare is a senior leader responsible for overseeing financial statement audit engagements for hospitals, health systems, physician organizations, and other healthcare providers. This role leads client relationships, ensures audit quality and regulatory compliance, mentors team members, and drives practice growth through business development and cross-service collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead relationship partner for hospital and healthcare provider audit clients.
  • Lead financial statement audit engagements, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery.
  • Advise clients on complex accounting, auditing, and healthcare industry matters.
  • Drive practice growth through business development and cross-service collaboration.
  • Mentor and develop team members while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required; Master's preferred.
  • Active CPA license required.
  • 10+ years of public accounting experience with a focus on hospital and healthcare financial statement audits.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, AICPA auditing standards, and healthcare accounting and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven success leading client relationships, developing business, and managing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Preferred Experience/Background/Skills

  • Master's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare financial statement audits.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry regulations and standards.
  • Leadership and mentoring experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay

The salary range displayed is specifically for those potential applicants who will work or reside in the states of Colorado, Illinois, or Nevada if selected for this role. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant skills and prior relevant experience, degrees and certifications (e.g. CPA, CFA, CIA, etc).

Schedule

Typical office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Ability to work extra hours as determined by workload and client expectations. Hybrid model (2-3 days per week in office / at a client). Ability to sit for long periods of time. Ability to move throughout office. Ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 30-50 pounds.
