About the role
The Partner Account Manager is responsible for engaging, building, and developing key accounts and growth opportunities for Human Interest. This role involves building strategic referral networks and partnerships, identifying and resolving issues, and collaborating with various departments to execute go-to-market strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and build referral relationships with tech partners, HCM partners, benefit brokers, CPA's, and financial advisors in the SMB space
- Create and maintain strategic referral networks and partnerships focused on lead generation and new partnership opportunities
- Proactively identify and resolve emerging issues and offer solutions by working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Finance
- Collaborate with Partner Marketing to innovate and execute unique initiatives to promote partner sales (e.g., educational events, email, webinars, etc.)
- Work with partners to establish business goals and performance metrics, and develop effective go-to-market strategies and demand-generation activities
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience building, developing, and maintaining relationships with tech and HCM partners, benefit brokers, CPA's, and financial advisors in the SMB space
- Proven track record of success in a quota-driven sales environment
- Highly motivated individual contributor and relationship builder
- Thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Solutions-oriented, willing to get hands dirty and solve operational partnership issues
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, trusted by others
- Tech-savvy, familiar with using Salesforce to manage sales cycles (preferred)

- Ability to travel 3 days per week

Pay
The total On Target Earnings (OTE) for the role is $130,000 - $133,000, which includes a base salary of $66,500 and a variable target compensation of $66,500. The specific pay rate offered is based on the candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
