Particle Board Utility

About the Role

This position involves maintaining and cleaning all areas in the Pre-Production and Particle Board departments. Responsibilities include performing PDMs (Preventative Maintenance Duties), routine and complex equipment checks, and maintenance tasks. The Utility role also ensures the press area remains clean and organized.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean Pre-Production and Particle Board areas
• Perform PDMs (Preventative Maintenance Duties)
• Conduct routine and complicated equipment checks and maintenance
• Keep the press area clean and organized
• Use power tools, measuring devices, and hand tools
• Work with others to identify and solve complex manufacturing problems
• Work independently with minimal supervision

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent attendance record
• High energy level, strong work ethic, and positive problem-solving approach
• Basic computer skills (e.g., navigating screens, interpreting data)
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to use power tools, measuring devices, and hand tools
• Ability to work in extreme heat and cold conditions
• Ability to work at heights using personnel lifts, stairs, and ladders
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance

Qualifications

Intermediate knowledge of Particle Board production processes is preferred.
