Part Time - Women's Basketball - Assistant Coach

Penn State York Department of Athletics is seeking an Assistant Women's Basketball Coach who will report directly to the Head Coach.

Responsibilities

• Attend all practices and games; be flexible in scheduling.
• Perform duties assigned by the head coach, which may include but are not limited to:
  • Skill instruction and practice drills
  • Game day management
  • Player management
  • Assist in statistics
  • Equipment management
  • Team administrative responsibilities
• Some overnight travel will be required.

Requirements

• Prior coaching experience, preferably at the college level or at a minimum at the high school level.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required; a High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

This position requires the following clearances: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check are also required.
