Part Time Westside Recreation Center Support

About the role

Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation is accepting applications for various roles at the Westside Recreation Center.

Open positions

• Lifeguards (available shifts: 4:45 to 10:30 a.m.; 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.)
• Lifeguard interim (40-hours per week with health benefits available)
• Front desk (available shifts: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.; 1 to 6 p.m.; 5 to 9 p.m.; and weekends)
• Recreation assistants (guest experiences throughout facility): 4 to 9 p.m. and weekends
• Maintenance (available shifts: 6 to 11 p.m.; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; weekends)
• Certified Fitness Instructors (land and/or water)

Minimum Qualifications

• Desired applicants should be at least 15 years of age
• Eligible to work up to 28 hours per week
• Must be able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, and weekends
• Should demonstrate excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills
• Must have reliable transportation
