Part Time Wellness Specialist

About the role

As a Wellness Specialist at Visiting Angels, you will be a vital bridge between clients, caregivers, and Visiting Angels' care services. Your responsibilities include conducting in-home wellness and safety visits, identifying client needs, recommending Visiting Angels' care options, training and supporting caregivers, updating care plans, and leading quality assurance efforts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home wellness and safety visits with empathy and professionalism
• Identify client needs and opportunities to introduce new or expanded services
• Confidently discuss and recommend Visiting Angels’ care options
• Build strong, trusting relationships with clients and families
• Train, support, and motivate caregivers
• Update care plans based on changing client needs
• Lead quality assurance efforts

Requirements

• A licensed nurse or social worker with 10+ years of experience in elder care
• An empathetic listener and skilled communicator
• Comfortable and confident discussing care needs and matching them to the right solutions
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to balance multiple priorities with professionalism
• Independent, proactive, and driven by both client satisfaction and service growth
• Willing to travel within the greater Philadelphia area
