Part Time Weekend Inbound Associate
Responsibilities
The Inbound Associate performs various tasks to prepare and list items to be sold online and shipped to customers across the country. This includes examining, testing, and evaluating various networking electronic equipment to determine value and functionality. Additionally, they utilize innovation and expertise to assist with special projects, including training and mentoring of new associates.
- Accurately represent items in photographs: plans presentation, camera position, camera angle, lighting, and key shots to produce desired effect.
- Research items, accurately portray weights, measures, used disclaimers, and assigned shipping and handling charges appropriately.
- Determine merchandise value based on quality, trends, brands, and price guides.
- Write all product descriptions and attributes (including damages).
- Write test or inspection reports describing results, recommendations, or needed repairs, if needed.
- Use software and hardware to properly dispose of data-on-data bearing devices following appropriate procedures.
- Disassemble whole system into components, subcomponents, and commodities using various tools.
- Absorb and process items quickly and accurately, rotating between stations on a regular basis.
- Maintain confidentiality of sales information.
- Assist with training and mentoring of associates.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area, follow safety procedures, use PPE as needed, and use body mechanics when performing each task.
- Meet or exceed daily productivity goals through efficient handling of product.
Requirements
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- Computer skills with a functional knowledge of word processing and how to use email and internet software.
- Forklift certification, if required at site.
- Must be able to function independently in a work setting.

Skills

- Technical Skill: Understands and applies professional principles and skills within area of specialization to modify processes to resolve situations.

Pay
It is not typical for individuals to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on facts and circumstances of each case. Certain roles are eligible to participate in an incentive plan. Participation in this plan does not guarantee an incentive payment and is subject to the terms and conditions of the plan, which are subject to change.
