Part-Time Weekend Farm Help

Responsibilities

• Feed and water livestock, ensuring animals are properly cared for according to farm protocols.
• Egg Collection: Collect eggs from poultry, ensuring proper handling and storage to maintain quality.
• Grounds Maintenance: Perform tasks such as sweeping & maintaining store cleanliness, organizing, and maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of farm grounds.
• Retail Operations: Operate the Jireh Family Farm Meat Market, including:
• Assisting customers with product selection and providing information about farm products.
• Processing purchases accurately using the checkout system.
• Delivering exceptional customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
• Multitasking: Balance animal care responsibilities with retail sales duties, prioritizing tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in farming and animal care.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 70 pounds and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Basic math skills for handling cash and card transactions.
• Previous experience in farming, animal care, or retail is preferred but not required.
• Availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).

Schedule

Part-time, weekends only (approximately 10-15 hours per week). Specific hours to be determined based on farm and market needs.

Pay
