Part-Time Warehouse Laborer

About the role

We are seeking a qualified individual for the Part-Time Warehouse Laborer position in Hatfield, PA. This is an onsite, part-time role within the DSD Warehouse department.

Pay

$16.78 / hour based on experience.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 20–25 hours per week. Shifts available: 6:00 AM–12:00 PM or 12:00 PM–4:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute items to production workers or assembly line.
• Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Use computer to enter records.
• Open bales, crates, and other containers.
• Weigh or count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Compile worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence (size, type, style, color, or product code).
• Assemble Route Sales People’s orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or convey orders to packing station or shipping department.
• Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments.
• Maintain inventory records and update spreadsheets as necessary.

Requirements

• Able to read, write, understand, and speak English.
• Must pass a job-related assessment with a score of 70% or better.
• Display common sense, understanding, and working knowledge of product codes and warehouse procedures.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license in the current state of residence and a clean driving record.

Physical Demands

• Constantly reaching and using fine manipulation.
• Frequently walking, bending, squatting, balancing, and lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds.
• Occasionally lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Minimally sitting, kneeling, crawling, and climbing.
