Part-Time Warehouse Associate (Thursday–Sunday, 5am Start)

About the role

This position supports distribution services within a warehouse environment, focusing on order fulfillment, inventory management, and shipping operations. The role involves verifying received merchandise, stocking shelves, assembling customer orders, and entering data into computer systems. Additional responsibilities include inspecting returns, conducting inventory counts, and assisting with controlled substance handling in specialized environments. The role may require operational certification for power equipment and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive, pick, stage, and ship customer orders, including returns and inventory control.
• Verify merchandise against shipments and report discrepancies.
• Maintain organized stock, assemble orders, and accurately document transactions.
• Assist with inventory counts and resolution of discrepancies.
• Operate motorized equipment and assist in training new associates.
• Ensure a clean work environment and adhere to safety and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience.

Skills

• Ability to read, understand English, and perform basic math.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and maintain safety standards.
• Experience with inventory procedures, RF devices, and computer systems preferred.
• Capability to operate forklifts or reach trucks, with necessary certifications, and perform physical tasks.
• Team-oriented with problem-solving abilities and flexibility to work overtime when needed.
