Factory is seeking a reliable, organized, and creatively minded part-time Video Editor & Production Assistant to support day-to-day content production across the office and events. This person will help turn raw footage into polished, usable assets while also supporting shoots, equipment preparation, and media organization.

Responsibilities

  • Edit raw footage from Factory events, office days, and productions, including sequencing, basic color correction, and audio correction.
  • Prepare organized edits and exports for review, ensuring footage is properly assembled and easy for the team to use.
  • Serve as a second camera operator (“B Cam”) when needed, supporting the lead videographer during events, interviews, and office shoots.
  • Organize, transfer, label, and archive footage using clear file-management practices.
  • Set up and break down production equipment, including camera and tripod rigs.
  • Help maintain an orderly production workspace and ensure gear is packed, accounted for, and ready for upcoming shoots.
  • Collaborate with the production and creative teams to deliver content efficiently and on deadline.

Requirements

  • Mid-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Working knowledge of cameras, tripods, and standard production gear.
  • Familiarity with basic media organization, file naming, storage, and backup processes.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced office and event environment.
  • Available for a flexible part-time schedule, including occasional event days as needed.

Preferred

  • Prior experience assisting on video shoots or operating a second camera.
  • Experience editing social, event, interview, or brand-content footage.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud tools beyond Premiere Pro.
