Part- Time Veterinary Technician
About the Role
As a member of the Emergency team, you will support the Emergency doctor teams by creating a positive, low‑stress atmosphere for clients and patients. Technicians thrive in a fast‑paced service, handle critical cases, and enjoy a stimulating caseload while sharpening and advancing their technical skills daily.
Responsibilities
- Triage and prioritize incoming emergency cases
- Coordinate ER flow by assigning clinicians and ensuring timely patient care
- Provide high‑quality nursing care and monitor critically ill or injured patients
- Place IV catheters, perform diagnostic testing, and administer treatments
- Assist in and monitor anesthesia for emergency procedures; manage patient recovery
- Support clinicians during exams, procedures, and diagnostic imaging (radiographs, labs)
- Communicate clearly with clients about patient status and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate medical records, enter charges, and complete treatment sheets
- Collaborate with CSRs and team members to ensure a smooth client experience
- Maintain cleanliness, follow infection control protocols, and ensure proper patient restraint
- Participate in continuing education and ongoing professional development

Schedule
Part‑time opportunity, Day/1st shift every other weekend.
Compensation
Pay range is $25 – $35 per hour, negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, and other relevant credentials.
