Part-Time Van Driver - Day Program (19 per hour)

About the role

We are seeking a part-time Van Driver to transport individuals to and from our Adult Day Program in Beverly. You will pick up program participants at their homes and drop them off at the program location in Wakefield, helping them start and end their day safely and on time.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe and punctual transportation of individuals to their program/place of employment and to and from home.
• Notify the Director of vehicle/equipment deficiencies and maintain cleanliness of assigned vehicles.
• Provide assistance as needed to individuals when entering and leaving the vehicle.
• Complete monthly vehicle maintenance/safety checklists and submit them to the Manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• At least three years of driving experience.
• Valid Massachusetts driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Successful completion of a background check, including references, CORI, and fingerprinting.
• Physical examination and drug/alcohol testing required after an offer of employment.

Pay

$19.00 per hour.

Schedule

Part-time, 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Hours are 7:30 AM–9:30 AM and 2:30 PM–4:30 PM. Drivers must work both morning and afternoon shifts.
