About the role
Operate computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images. Prepare and position patients, set technical parameters, ensure high-quality imaging, maintain equipment, and adhere to safety protocols.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients for CT scans
- Set and adjust technical parameters on CT scanners
- Ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging
- Maintain and troubleshoot CT equipment
- Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver patient care
- Document procedures accurately and thoroughly
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
- Valid Radiology license
- Current BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
- ARRT Certification
- Additional state or specialty licenses
