Part-Time Travel CT Technologist

About the role

Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images, prepare and position patients, ensure safety protocols, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver high-quality images. Maintain equipment, document procedures accurately, and follow safety standards to minimize radiation exposure. Adapt to different equipment and protocols, providing compassionate patient care throughout the imaging process.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment for diagnostic imaging
• Prepare, explain procedures, and position patients
• Set technical parameters for accurate imaging
• Provide images for radiologist interpretation
• Maintain safety standards and equipment functionality
• Document procedures and collaborate with healthcare professionals
• Perform routine equipment troubleshooting

Qualifications & Skills

• One year of recent CT technologist experience
• Valid radiology license and current BLS certification
• Critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
• Ability to follow instructions and work under pressure
• Visual acuity and effective communication skills
