Responsibilities
- Ensure the appropriate number of cars is kept on location throughout shift, parked in an orderly fashion, and the lot is kept clean and presentable.
- Be present every scheduled day, on time, and in uniform.
- Courteously assist customers by answering questions.
- Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed.
- Report known accidents, policy violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility or Senior Manager.
- Communicate debris, water, oil spills, and other hazards to the Facility or Senior Manager.
- Have thorough knowledge of major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the area of the lot.
- Assist Facility or Senior Manager with other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Less than high school education or one month of related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record (if required to drive a company vehicle or on company business).
- Availability to work special shifts, including 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and/or weekends, depending on location needs.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence and present information in one-on-one situations.
- Basic mathematical skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide two-digit numbers and units of American money.
- Maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times.
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle cash and equipment.
- Occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
