Part Time Tire and Lube Technician

About the role

The Part Time Tire and Lube Technician position at our Hertz Rent-A-Car location offers the benefits of joining an industry leader with a high-charged, energy-filled environment. This entry-level position is the launching point for our maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, with a focus on Oil and Tire Changes
• Quickly learn and use various tools including oil filter wrenches, socket set, and a toolbox
• Work under supervision to perform vehicle repairs
• Use shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience with automotive repair (personal or professional) is preferred
• Valid Driver’s License

Qualifications

• Ability to perform vehicle repairs with oversight
• Knowledge of shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools
• Familiarity with the following tools (to be provided):
• 3/8” and ½” impact wrench
• Sockets wrench - metric and standard - preferably long and short lengths
• Oil Filter wrenches and tools
• TPMS tool - reset tire sensors
• Combo wrenches
• Screwdrivers
