Part-Time Therapeutic Activities Aide

The Vermont Veterans' Home (VVH) is seeking a part-time Therapeutic Activities Aide to support residents through various recreational programs and community events.

About the role

This position assists residents in attending community events, prepares for and leads recreational activities, and handles daily paperwork and data entry. Hours are flexible, ranging from 9am to 3pm or 11am to 7pm, with weekends and holidays included.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in attending community events and recreational programs
• Prepare and lead various therapeutic activities
• Handle progress reports and daily paperwork/data entry
• Support residents during transportation to and from events

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Prior experience in a healthcare setting or with older adults is preferred.
