Part-Time Textiles Associate - Havana Store
About the role
The Associate I, Textiles Production position at Goodwill of Colorado involves processing donated clothing into inventory to be sold on the sales floor. This includes sorting, hanging, pricing, and tagging textiles while adhering to company quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Sort donated textiles by season, color, and quality.
- Inspect textiles to ensure they are in good saleable condition.
- Hang, size, price, tag, and prepare textile items for sale by loading them onto Z-racks.
- Make decisions to price items according to Goodwill standards of quality and value, possibly researching the item's value online or using company tools.
- Provide excellent customer service to both staff and customers, answering product questions as needed.
- Follow all retail center policies and procedures.
- Follow all safety processes and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate efficient workflow.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- One year of retail experience is preferred.
- Attention to detail and decision-making skills are essential.
- Ability to use basic technologies to follow company standards and research item values.
- Ability to use a dolly and pallet jack as required.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Effective communication skills, both with customers and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
- Continuous lifting of heavy objects (45 lbs & over) occasionally, moderate objects (15-44 lbs) frequently, and light objects (14 lbs & under) continuously.
- Frequent reaching above shoulder, at shoulder, and below shoulder.
- Occasional twisting, bending, kneeling/crawling, squatting, and climbing.
- Frequent walking and standing.
- Repetitive movements and fine manipulation of hands/fingers.
- Visual acuity, including close, distant, and depth perception.
- Ability to hear and speak.
Skills
Knowledge of clothing brands and quality is a plus, along with the ability to quickly adapt to new tasks and cross-train in other departments as needed.

Pay
The starting hourly rate is $16.45, with potential increases based on productivity.
