About the role

The Teaching & Learning Center staff is comprised of professional and student tutors. By joining our part‑time temporary tutor pool, you help ensure we can continue to provide excellent service to our students and our community. Responsibilities

• Work individually and in small groups with students.

Requirements

• Tier 1 – Student Tutors or Tutors with less than a Bachelor's degree: Must have completed courses in the tutoring field with an A, and overall GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Tier 2 – Professional Tutors: Hold a Bachelor's degree or above in the tutoring field or a closely related discipline; teaching or tutoring experience preferred.

Skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software and computers is helpful.

Schedule

Hours worked may vary, but will not exceed 29 hours per week.
