Part-Time Temporary - Lab Monitor (Pool) 2026

About the role

Lab monitors assist IT staff with managing and re-imaging PCs, general desktop support (setups and moves), staffing the helpdesk as needed, and helping users with first‑level technology issues. They also monitor and clean PC labs, assist students, staff and faculty with basic technology questions, and periodically check inventory to ensure computer labs are in good working order and clean. This position provides short‑term support and is not intended to transition into permanent employment.

Responsibilities

• Periodically check inventory and ensure computer labs are in good working order and clean

Requirements

• Must be an enrolled student at Columbia State Community College
• Above average computer knowledge
• GPA 2.5 or above

Pay

$12.50 per hour

Schedule

Hours may vary, but will not exceed 29 hours per week
