About the role
The Teller I Part Time assists members and potential members with their Credit Union financial needs in a prompt, friendly, and efficient manner, both in person and on the phone, following current service model standards.
Responsibilities
- Assists members and potential members with their Credit Union financial needs in a prompt, friendly, and efficient manner, both in person and on the phone, following current service model standards.
- Refers members to appropriate Credit Union personnel for services outside the scope of given responsibility.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year cash handling experience or six months or more customer service experience
- Minimum 1 year Teller experience
- Preferred Education: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including business writing ability
- Excellent time management and organizational skills and must be accustomed to working with deadlines
- Must possess mathematical ability to perform very basic math skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Must be detail oriented
- Bilingual Spanish-speaking
- Hearing - Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction
- Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound
- Repetitive Motions - Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
- Lifting - Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
- Talking - Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word, those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to others accurately, loudly, or quickly
- Visual Abilities - Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery
Qualifications
