As a Teller, you engage in assisting with various financial needs and processing transactions, providing exceptional customer service, resolving concerns, minimizing risk, defending against fraud, referring product solutions, and escalating complex issues for timely resolution.

Responsibilities

• Provide an elevated level of exceptional customer service by welcoming customers, minimizing wait times, and assisting with their banking needs.
• Process transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
• Handle cash and maintain accurate cash drawer balances.
• Adhere to all bank policies and procedures, including compliance and risk management protocols to prevent fraudulent situations.
• Recognize opportunities and cross-sell bank products to deepen customer relationships.
• Engage customers and leverage digital tools to educate them on self-service options.
• Assist with custodianship, audits, and other operational tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to create a welcoming environment for customers.
• Support nearby branch locations based on business necessity.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED (Required).
• 6+ months of cash handling experience (Required).
• 6+ months of demonstrated customer service experience (Required).
• Excellent customer service skills and a passion for helping others.
• Ability to identify and escalate concerns of risk to appropriate channels.
• Ability to follow directions, policies, and procedures.
• Effective listening and communication skills.
• Comfortable using digital tools and technology to enhance customer engagement.
• Energetic, organized, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Understands the necessity and value of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Computer proficiency and basic math skills.
• Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring employer sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.
• Preferred experience in Microsoft Office products.

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $30,000.00 USD to $47,000.00 USD annually, based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and location.
