Part Time Teller

About the role

Bloom Credit Union is seeking a Part Time Teller to join their team in Coopersville. The ideal candidate will provide professional and confidential service to members, handle transactions, and manage the branch efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Balance checks and a cash drawer daily and report discrepancies to supervisor
• Greet and welcome members courteously, provide prompt and accurate transactions
• Manage time efficiently, seek opportunities to enhance knowledge
• Demonstrate flexibility and a positive attitude in complex situations
• Cash share drafts/checks, process withdrawals, verify signatures and balances
• Answer phones promptly and professionally
• Meet and exceed teller referral goals
• Follow safety and security procedures, report suspicious activity to management
• Travel to other Grand Rapids branches as needed
• Understand and comply with all policies and procedures, including BSA/AML and OFAC

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of cash handling experience
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Able to pass a background check
• Work Monday - Friday, occasional Saturdays
