Part Time Teller

About the role

This position involves providing quality, accurate, and timely customer service in a retail banking environment. Act as the first point of contact, recommending bank products or referring clients to appropriate departments, while developing long-term, profitable relationships to maximize revenue.

Responsibilities

• Handle cash drawer operations, ensuring proper control and adherence to audit/security policies.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and miscellaneous transactions (bonds, money orders, etc.).
• Assist with ATM balancing, processing entries, and verifying deposits in depositories.
• Support vault responsibilities and stay informed of operational updates to ensure compliance.
• Deliver excellent client experiences, resolve issues promptly, and assist with service needs.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities, promote bank products, and refer clients as appropriate.
• Comply with bank regulations, policies, risk management, and internal controls.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 6 months cash handling or teller experience preferred.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, 10-key calculator, and coin counting equipment.
• Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily and adapt to operational standards.
