About the role
On-site retail banking associate responsible for providing quality customer service, processing financial transactions, and promoting bank products.
Responsibilities
- Serving as the first point of contact for clients and developing long-term relationships to maximize revenue.
- Processing deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and miscellaneous transactions like money orders and bonds.
- Monitoring cash control, assisting with ATM balancing, and verifying deposits to ensure operational efficiency.
- Handling cash drawer responsibilities, adhering to audit and security policies.
- Delivering excellent client experiences, resolving issues promptly, and promoting bank products and cross-selling opportunities.
- Ensuring compliance with bank regulations, policies, risk management, and internal controls.
- Staying informed of operational updates and performing additional job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; 6 months of cash handling or teller experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic office equipment operation.
Additional Skills
- Excellent customer service, effective communication, and ability to handle cash accurately.
- No supervisory responsibilities.
