About the role
On-site banking associate responsible for delivering high-quality customer service, processing financial transactions, and promoting bank products.
Responsibilities
- Handle daily cash operations, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments, while maintaining cash control and adhering to security policies.
- Assist with ATM balancing, verification of deposits, and vault responsibilities to ensure operational efficiency.
- Provide exceptional client experiences by resolving issues promptly and assisting with service needs.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities, promote bank products, and refer clients to relevant departments to foster relationships.
- Ensure compliance with bank regulations, policies, risk management, and internal controls.
- Perform miscellaneous transactions such as bonds, money orders, and municipal coupons, and stay updated on operational guidelines.
- Support in daily balancing and processing of deposits, including night and lobby depositories.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; 6 months cash handling or teller experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic office equipment.
Skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to operate financial and office equipment effectively.
- Attention to detail, operational awareness, and adherence to compliance standards.
Schedule
Ability to work up to 29 hours per week as scheduled; no supervisory responsibilities; ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
