Part Time Teller

About the role

Delivers a unique customer experience aimed at improving customer financial wellbeing and creating loyalty while increasing share of wallet. Processes a variety of customer interactions and educates customers on alternatives available for their financial needs. Identifies banking opportunities during customer interactions and makes appropriate referrals to branch staff.

• Performs lobby engagement activities to connect with customers and position PNC products.
• Educates customers on options for managing financial transactions using technology, tools, and resources.
• Applies product and procedural knowledge to solve customer problems.
• Adheres to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits.
• Ensures teller and branch daily operations and maintenance transactions are completed efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Engage in meaningful conversations with customers to identify needs and make appropriate referrals.
• Leverage technology and digital tools to enhance customer financial interactions.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all transactions and customer interactions.
• Detect and prevent fraud while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate effectively and proactively to address customer needs and promote PNC products.

Qualifications

Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for the role. While prior experience is not required, a combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience (including military service) may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Pay

Base Salary: $14.42 – $24.04 per hour. Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive-eligible, with payments based on company, business, and/or individual performance.
