Part-time Teller

Responsibilities

• Provides a variety of paying and receiving functions for members in person and through the mail, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cash advances, and disbursing cash or check share withdrawals.
• Processes cash advances, cashiers' checks, money orders, gift cards, and discount tickets.
• Verifies transactions, balances daily transactions, and investigates and resolves discrepancies and out-of-balance conditions.
• Maintains and projects the Credit Union’s professional reputation and maintains privacy of member account information.
• Actively cross-sells Credit Union products and services.

Qualifications

• Education/Certification: High school graduate or equivalent.
• Required Knowledge: Knowledge of Teller operations and procedures; basic understanding of Credit Union operations.
• Experience Required: At least six months cash handling experience.
• Skills/Abilities: Good communication skills; professional appearance, dress, and attitude; good math skills; ability to operate related computer applications and business equipment; good typing skills.
