Part Time Teller, 20 hours

Compensation is based on experience; the posted range is intended to provide a general estimate.

Responsibilities

• Perform any functions necessary within the scope of authority and expertise to provide the highest levels of customer service and responsiveness.
• Superior Service Quality:
  • Ensure excellence in customer service and maintain service standards.
  • Act as a resource to identify customer servicing issues, resolve them, and retain customer relationships.
  • Respond to customer requests, problems, and/or complaints, ensuring proper hand-off to the appropriate person if needed.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of bank products and services to recognize and address customer needs.
  • Identify opportunities to suggest or cross-sell other bank services to customers.
• Operations:
  • Perform a variety of transactions to service customers, including processing deposits, withdrawals, payments, cash, checks, and credit card advances.
  • Participate in individual, team, and bank goals as set by the branch manager.
  • Adhere to internal controls and policies regarding audit, dual control, security, regulatory compliance, cash limits, and robbery procedures to protect the bank, employees, and customers.
  • Ensure BSA (Bank Secrecy Act) procedures are properly followed.
  • Answer phone and in-person account inquiries.
  • Account for all money in individual cash drawer and balance transactions daily.
• Security:
  • Prevent fraudulent activities through strict adherence to bank policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to branch security procedures detailed in the security manual.
  • Maintain a constant state of alertness and work in a safe manner.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Cash handling experience preferred.
• Computer skills required; knowledge of Microsoft products is a plus.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Fluency in a second language is a plus.
