Part Time Teacher (Year Round)

About the role

For more than 26 years, we have provided on-site educational services in hospitals, helping these school-age patients continue their education during treatment and reintegrate successfully into the classroom. With a network of over 200 educators, we strive to make a positive impact for generations to come. Currently, we are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in Naperville, IL on a part-time basis year round.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced behavioral health facility providing academic support to child and adolescent school-age patients in a small classroom setting.
• Plan and deliver daily lesson plans.
• Provide individualized assistance to students.
• Regularly communicate about student progress as needed.
• Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success.
• Maintain accurate attendance and session reports.

Schedule

Position entails a 20-hour a week commitment, Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am‑12:00 pm.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution.
• LBS1 Illinois state teaching license.

Skills

• Comfortable working with adolescent students.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs.
• Reliable transportation.
