About the role
We are currently seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in Concord, MA on a part-time basis for the 2026-27 school year.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver daily lesson plans
- Provide individualized assistance to students
- Regularly communicate about student progress as needed
- Maintain accurate attendance and session reports
- Monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success
- Teach in fast-paced behavioral health facilities
- Work in a small classroom setting with adolescent school-age patients
- Class sizes range from 8 to 15 students at any one time
- Commitment is 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 1:30pm-5:30pm or 1-5pm
Qualifications
- B.A./B.S. degree from an accredited institution
- Massachusetts State teaching license (required)
- Comfortable working with adolescent aged students
- Strong organizational skills
- Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs
- Reliable Transportation
