Part Time - Surgical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care within a multidisciplinary Pain Consultation and Treatment Center. Key Responsibilities Include Performing all RN duties such as intrathecal pump refills, surgical coordination, patient monitoring during interventional procedures, and pre/post-procedure education.Triaging patients, coordinating specialty care activities, and serving as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare team members.Counseling families on medical conditions, diagnostics, and treatments, as well as facilitating delivery of services for surgical procedures.Participating in educational programs, committees, and research projects related to specialty care.Managing patient care caseloads pre- and post-operatively to ensure continuity and safety, including reviewing diagnostic work and coordinating diagnostic procedures.Adhering to departmental policies, promoting patient safety, and encouraging patient participation in their care. Qualifications Include Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a minimum of 3 years of related experience.Current RN licensure in NM or reciprocal agreement, CPR/BLS certification within 30 days.Ability to perform medium work, exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally, with awareness of safety protocols involving hazardous materials.Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including holidays and weekends, with adherence to safety and infection control standards.
