Part-Time Student Worker - Lab Assistant

About the Role

This role involves supporting simulation labs within the Nursing Department, reporting to the Lab Manager or Program Director. The Student Worker will receive training to assist with maintaining lab equipment, setting up and breaking down simulation settings, and ensuring the lab environment is clean and organized.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with lab setup, equipment maintenance, and inventory management
• Providing technical guidance to students during open labs regarding equipment use
• Adhering to safety protocols and OSHA guidelines
• Communicating effectively with students, faculty, and staff

This non-instructional position requires physical stamina, manual dexterity, and basic computer skills.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a nursing program
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 18 years old

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Advanced nursing students with completed NURS 115 skills

Pay

$14.00 per hour
