The Department of Energy and Mineral Engineering in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences is seeking Part-Time Student Workers to conduct research on direct lithium extraction from geothermal brine in the simulated lab conditions, combined with numerical analysis. The applicant should have a track record in this research.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on direct lithium extraction from geothermal brine in simulated lab conditions.
  • Perform numerical analysis related to the research.

Requirements

  • Track record in research related to direct lithium extraction from geothermal brine.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate or graduate student status at the time of application.

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Experience with laboratory equipment and techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
