About the role

The Retail Store Associate position at CVS Health offers an opportunity to provide exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail environment. You'll work closely with customers, supporting various departments, and contributing to the overall success of the store.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor, offering assistance and guidance as needed.
• Perform cashier duties accurately, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
• Manage inventory and ensure shelves are stocked and operational.
• Support opening and closing store activities, including restocking and cleaning.
• Work collaboratively with pharmacy staff, assisting with photo and beauty department operations.
• Advocate for and promote new CVS services and loyalty programs.

Requirements

• Physical ability to remain upright on the feet for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs of force occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently.
• Good visual acuity for tasks such as reading and inspecting small parts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred but not required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with new technology and systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay
