Responsibilities
- Cleans all kitchen areas, to include pots, pans, all silver items, silverware, platters, etc., at all times.
- Sweeps and mops floors at scheduled times and on a needed basis.
- Cleans worktables, mixers, refrigerators, etc., at all times.
- Delivers food for catered functions in a timely manner.
- Cleans kitchen areas and back of house at all times, daily and nightly.
- Adheres to all Sonesta Sanitation and Safety Guidelines.
- Delivers passionate and engaging service to guests by recognizing individual guests and anticipating their unique needs to exceed expectations.
- Consistently delivers the GUEST model:
- Greet or welcome everyone warmly with a smile
- Use eye and ear contact and guest’s name
- Establish/anticipate needs
- Solve and own all requests/complaints
- Thank everyone
- Builds solid relationships with colleagues by treating them with respect and dignity.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned, including working in other areas of the hotel to assist operations.
Requirements
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions.
- Track record of delivering exceptional guest or client experience.
- Strong communication skills, utilized for training, safety, and guest interactions.
- Appropriate professional appearance and demeanor.
