Part Time STEM Prep Paraprofessional - Fiddlers Elementary

About the Role

Fiddlers Elementary is seeking a Part-Time STEM Prep Paraprofessional to support instructional activities and help make a difference in the lives of students and families in the Cedar City community.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned STEM subjects to pupils in grades K-5 and implement the District-approved curriculum.
• Provide instructional support assistance to students and student groups.
• Participate in the development, maintenance, and execution of classroom management systems.
• Guide students in working and interacting harmoniously with others.
• Operate various types of office equipment such as computers and copy machines.
• Comply with established district policies and procedures.
• Utilize the course study prescribed by the District-approved curriculum to help students:
  • Demonstrate a positive learning attitude.
  • Develop social skills and ethical responsibility.
  • Demonstrate responsible emotional and cognitive behaviors.
  • Develop physical skills and personal hygiene.
  • Participate in daily sustained physical activity to develop health-related physical fitness.
  • Achieve and apply knowledge of physical fitness.
  • Demonstrate respect for self and others through responsible personal behavior in physical activity settings and social behavior.

Requirements

• Basic computer knowledge, including familiarity with Google Docs.
• Willingness to learn and use all required computer systems and software.
• Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance and job performance.
• Frequent email checking.

Schedule

Part-time position working 16.5 hours per week.
