Part-Time Staff Pharmacist

About the role

Broadway Apothecary seeks an enthusiastic, patient-focused Part-Time Pharmacist to join our team of healthcare professionals. We are a specialty pharmacy dedicated to stellar, long-term patient care and provider partnerships with an emphasis on successful treatment outcomes, medication adherence, and dynamic medication regimens. Our specialties focus on upper and lower respiratory care, wound and skin conditions, weight loss, and topical pain management. We hold ourselves to the highest standard and are the first pharmacy in Oregon – and one of the first in the nation – to earn the PCAB/ACHC® Seal of Accreditation. As a family-owned, independent community pharmacy, we provide comprehensive, individualized care that begins with consultation and is reinforced in each follow-up discussion. For patients requiring interpreter services, we partner with Certified Languages International (CLI) to offer professional, on-demand support in the patient’s native language. Respectful, accurate, and confidential communication is essential in supporting the regional and cultural diversity of the individuals and communities we serve.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical expertise to benefit patients in a number of diverse communities.
• Exercise exceptional judgment, making decisions with integrity and forethought in a highly collaborative environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D
• Good standing with the Oregon Board of Pharmacy
• Unrestricted license to practice in the State of Oregon
• Current pharmacist license in Oregon in good standing
• Must undergo pre‑employment background check and drug screen

Physical demands: work in a standing position; lift up to 10 pounds regularly for 50 feet, up to 35 pounds frequently for 10 feet, and up to 50 pounds occasionally for 10 feet; use hands, arms, and fingers to handle tools or operate equipment; stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl; may be required to use ladders and/or stairs.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 9 am – 6 pm (weekends off).
