About the role

This position offers an opportunity to join a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing communication skills through evidence-based practices. We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) who can support our clients in achieving their communication goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting assessments and interventions for clients with speech and language disorders.
  • Collaborate with therapists to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
  • Provide direct patient care, including but not limited to, facilitating therapy sessions, documenting progress, and communicating with families and other healthcare providers.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • A valid SLPA certification.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in using clinical software and documentation systems.
  • Knowledge of various communication disorders and treatment approaches.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
