Part-Time Shop & Equipment Assistant Paint of WNY | Buffalo, NY Area Job Type: Part-Time Schedule: Flexible, approximately 10–20 hours per week Pay: Based on experience Job Description Paint of WNY is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and organized individual to help keep our shop, equipment, and materials in good working order. This is a hands-on, part-time position that includes shop organization, cleaning, basic equipment maintenance and repairs, and occasional deliveries to job sites. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in keeping things organized, and can work independently with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities Shop Organization & Cleaning Keep the shop, storage areas, and workspaces clean, safe, and organized.Organize tools, equipment, paint supplies, and materials.Assist with inventory and maintaining proper storage of supplies.Help load and unload materials and equipment. Equipment Testing & Maintenance Test and inspect painting equipment, sprayers, pressure washers, and other tools to ensure they are working properly.Perform basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs.Clean and prepare equipment for use on job sites.Identify equipment that needs additional service or repair. Job Site Deliveries & Support Deliver tools, equipment, and materials to local job sites as needed.Pick up equipment and supplies from job sites or vendors.Assist with preparing and staging materials for upcoming projects.Help with other general shop tasks as needed. Qualifications Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.Mechanically inclined with basic knowledge of tools and equipment.Organized and detail-oriented.Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.Ability to lift and move equipment and materials (up to 50 lbs.).Comfortable performing physical work, including standing, bending, and lifting.Previous experience with painting equipment, small engine repair, maintenance, or warehouse/shop operations is a plus, but not required.
