Part Time Shift Coordinator in Costco

About the role

In this position, you will assist with daily store operations, including opening and closing operations for events. You will support adherence to all warehouse standards for safety, customer service, product quality, operations, and store cleanliness, and serve as a role model and resource for other staff. During breaks or events, you will influence buyer behavior through customer education, engagement, and enthusiastically promoting and demonstrating products.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations, including opening and closing for events
• Support adherence to warehouse standards for safety, customer service, product quality, operations, and store cleanliness
• Serve as a role model and resource for other staff
• Engage Costco members through product demonstrations and education
• Influence buyer behavior through customer engagement and product promotion
• Prepare, cook, and clean work area and equipment
• Support demo events, ensuring carts, equipment, and supplies are set up and removed properly
• Assist with food safety, sanitation, and daily safety inspections
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with clients, customers, and team members
• Work independently while also contributing to successful team building
• Perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Available to work 2-3 shifts per week, including weekends
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and standing for up to 6 hours
• Comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• Reliable transportation to and from work location
