Part Time Service Technician

Role Overview

The Part‑Time General Service Technician performs non‑technical automotive tasks such as oil changes, tire services, and vehicle inspections.

Responsibilities

• Drive customers to and from the shop
• Pick up parts as needed
• Maintain shop cleanliness
• Document vehicle conditions using multi‑point inspections
• Follow safety procedures and company policies

Key Duties

• Perform tire mounting and dismounting
• Balance wheels
• Conduct oil changes and basic services
• Carry out vehicle inspections, including state safety and emission inspections where applicable
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Safely transport customers and parts
• Follow safety protocols and represent company values

Qualifications

• Must work at least five days weekly, including weekends
• Valid driver’s license
• Motivation and passion for cars
• Prior automotive experience preferred but not required for energetic, hardworking individuals

Physical & Working Conditions

• Exposure to loud noises, fumes, and varying temperatures
• Standing, bending, and lifting up to 70 pounds
• Good vision required
