Part-time Sensory Panelist / Product Evaluator - Pleasantville

About the role

MMR Research Worldwide specializes in consumer and sensory research, working with large international brands in the food, beverage, and personal/household care sectors. This is a permanent part-time, onsite position based in Pleasantville, NY.

Schedule

• Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday every week
• Hours: 2-hour shifts available between 10:00 AM–12:00 PM or 12:30–2:30 PM

Pay

$20.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Work individually and within a team to evaluate food, drink, personal care products, and individual ingredients
• Generate sensory descriptions as a group (relating to taste, appearance, texture, and smell)
• Individually score products based on these descriptors
• Follow detailed instructions and complete routine tasks quickly and accurately

No prior experience is necessary, as full training will be provided.

Requirements

• Must not have dietary restrictions (e.g., vegetarian, caffeine, or alcohol aversion)
• Must not have food intolerances, sensitivities, or allergies
• Good sensory acuity relating to smell and taste (assessed during the interview)
• Articulate and fluent in English
